Title Talk from B&T at Englewood Public Library

Jill Blades is the Western Regional Coordinator for Baker & Taylor’s CATS department (coincidentally named, which is pretty cool!), and she recently relocated to Denver from the Southeast. They are going to host one of their big publisher presentation events for the spring (on May 21) in Englewood with the help of Englewood Public Library. The day-long event consists of presentations of next season’s upcoming children’s and young adult titles by publisher reps from Random House, Penguin, Simon & Schuster, Scholastic, Chronicle, and several more; a complimentary lunch; an author presentation and complimentary book signing (Paul Zelinsky is joining!); lots of raffle prizes and giveaways; and plenty of laughs. It’s a great professional development event that children’s and teen librarians love attending.

  1. I know it’s been a while since this workshop, but I wanted to let everyone know what a great workshop it was. My reading list is definitely longer. We got tons of ARCs. The food was great! And our author, Paul Zelinsky, was a wonderful speaker. Thanks to all who made it happen!
