Colorado Teen Literature Conference Call for Proposals

Colorado Teen Literature Conference.  Denver, April 1, 2017 (No joke!)

Kindly excuse any duplication/cross-posting

Hello everyone,

The 29th Annual Colorado Teen Literature Conference will be held at Denver’s Auraria Campus on Saturday, April 1, 2017, with keynote speakers Greg Neri (author of Tru & Nelle) and Gail Corriger (author of Etiquette & Espionage).

We are currently accepting proposals for program sessions at the conference. This is an excellent opportunity to try your hand as a presenter or moderator of a discussion panel.  Traditionally this forum has been a terrific event for networking and learning about best practices for working with our teen populations and keeping current in Teen Literature.

We are looking for workshops that appeal to an audience of both adults (teachers and librarians) and teens, presented by authors, educators or experts in young adult literature.

We especially encourage proposals in the following areas: writing for teens and kinetic programs to engage teens in literature.

Sumbit your proposal at:

Deadline for proposals is November 15, 2016!

This popular event is generously sponsored by Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Colorado Language Arts Society (CLAS), Pikes Peak Library District, Colorado Young Adult Advocates in Libraries (C’YAAL), and REFORMA Colorado.

Should you have any questions, please contact Karen Bradley at or Jill Adams at

We look forward to working with you!
